Standing Up for Rural Schools, Libraries, and Communities Awards
Nominations for the 2015 Standing Up for Rural Wisconsin Awards are now open. Submit the completed nomination form by Thursday, September 17, 2015 to Christine Smith.
The 11th awards ceremony will be held in conjunction with the 7th Annual Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance (WIRSA) Fall Conference to be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, Stevens Point, WI on November 11, 2015.
Note: The nominated program must be undertaken by the public school(s) and/or public library(ies) and in concert with a rural group or organization. Selected nominations will be requested to submit 3-5 digital photos (JPG) of the program, project, initiative, or activity in action. Photos will be displayed during the Awards Ceremony. Ensure that appropriate privacy and disclaimer statements for these photos are secured.
